canoe7 :: End of day 4: Younger folk

location: on the Connecticut River north of Hanover, NH

filename: None

date/time: None

description: Here stand three of the four younger folk. We are between 20 and 24--Ben (not in the picture), Will, Mark, and Noah.

We've finished our supper after a long hard day of head winds and rain. Noah is studying the maps and preparing to canoe all night in a valient attempt to reach Hanover so he can attend classes on the morrow. Mark stands in the middle as if he were the mighty Raiden himself. Will (me) stands to the left, also doing some mental preparation for canoeing all night long. Noah and Will (me) canoed all night long in pitch black amidst rain which pitter pattered on the river as we sometimes stopped paddling to see where the current was taking us. We made it to Hanover by 7:00am the next day and rumor has it that Noah went home and slept all day skipping the classes we canoed through the night for him to catch.
