Figure 1: this is the specification deisgn picture of the
first implementation based on the DCOMP design from the DCOMP project
(off).
DCOMP involved a server written in C on DEC Unix using Berkeley
sockets and a client written using java applets embedded in a
web-page generated by a cgi program.
